How to Request a UTSA Transcript on ASAP to be Sent to Another Organization

  1. Click on myUTSA from http://www.utsa.edu.

  2. Click on ASAP.

  3. Click on Login to ASAP.

  4. Follow the ASAP log in process. If you have difficulty logging onto ASAP or do not know your student ID number* call (210) 458-8000 or (800) 669-0919 for assistance.

    1. Enter your student ID (@XXXXXXXX)

    2. Use your date of birth (DOB) as your PIN, MMDDYY.

    3. You may be asked to update your address and emergency contact information.

  5. Click on Student Services.

  6. Click on Student Records.

  7. Click on Request Official Transcript**.

  8. Next to Issue To, type in the name of the organization, company, or individual to whom the transcript is to be sent.

  9. Click on Continue.

  10. On the Modify Mailing Address page, enter the address.

  11. Street Line1, City, State or Province, and Zip Code are all required fields in order to have a transcript sent.

  12. Click on Continue.

  13. Enter the number of desired transcripts. No more than five (5) transcripts may be requested per day.

  14. Click on Continue.

  15. A summary of your request is displayed. Review it for accuracy. If you see an error, click the back button on your browser to correct the error.

  16. Once correct, click on Submit Request from the summary screen***.

  17. A confirmation page is displayed including your student ID number at the bottom left. You may want to print the confirmation page for your records.

  18. If you are finished, click on Exit. If you want to request more transcripts, click on Return to Menu and repeat the process.



To Check Status of Transcript Requests

  1. Complete steps 1-7 above.

  2. Click on View Status of Transcript Requests at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select the date of the transcript request you want to check from the drop down menu.

  4. Click on Submit.

  5. The status of the transcript request will be displayed. If the status of the transcript request says "Sent" that means it has left The University of Texas at San Antonio. It does not necessarily mean that it has been received by the institution where it was sent.

  6. If you are finished, click on Exit.

* All students, including alumni, have been issued a Banner ID number. This number begins with an @ symbol and is eight digits long.

** All transcript requests are processed in accordance with the procedural guidelines established in the UTSA Information Bulletin ~ http://www.utsa.edu/infoguide/ and will take no more than two business days to process.

*** All transcript requests are free of charge.
