UTSA Satellite Space presents 'Works for America,' March 1-25

(Feb. 26, 2007)--The UTSA Satellite Space and the Department of Art and Art History will present the exhibit, "Works for America," March 1-25. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Curated by Ken Little, UTSA professor of art and art history, the exhibit features wall drawings, animations and media installations by artists Hans W. Koch (Germany), Bettina Wenzel (Germany) and Heimo Wallner (Austria).
An opening reception, free and open to all, is 6-9 p.m., March 1, with special presentations by Little and Wenzel at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2.
The UTSA Satellite Space is in Blue Star Arts Complex Suite 115 at S. Alamo and Probandt streets, south of downtown San Antonio. Gallery hours are noon-6 p.m., Friday-Sunday or by appointment. As part of First Friday, Southtown's monthly gallery open house, hours are noon-9 p.m., Friday, March 2.
