The UTSA Washington DC Area Alumni Association is a chartered chapter of the UTSA Alumni Association for the 500+ UTSA graduates in the Washington DC area, and have already held several successful events connecting UTSA alumni. Our goals are to provide area alumni with opportunities to meet each other, to socialize, and to give back to the university through scholarships and internships in the Washington area. UTSA-DC Connection
One of the main objectives of the WDC Alumni Chapter is to share information gathered from the members' unique work experiences with current UTSA students and recent graduates who are exploring career opportunities in the Washington, DC area. The chapter has created the UTSA-DC Connection, an online resource center for those exploring opportunities to live and work in the WDC area.

Alumni Involvement
UTSA's 500+ alumni in the Metro DC area can become involved in assisting current students by:

• Providing Internships for Students / Forwarding Internship Information to Career Services
• Forwarding Individual Job Postings to Career Services
• Mentoring / Answering Questions from Students
• Referring Student Applicants
• Recruiting / Participating in Employer Information Sessions at UTSA
• Participating as a Guest Speaker / Career Panel Q&A Session at UTSA
