Classification: Sophomore, UTSA Honors College – second year scholarship recipient
Major: Civil Engineering
Honors/Awards: UTSA President’s List
Community/Student Service: UTSA Ambassador;  Community Service Committee co-chair; mass flautist for Catholic Student Association; volunteer, Alumni Association Diploma Dash
Future Plans: A degree in civil engineering and doctoral program in environmental sciences and engineering
Quote: “One side of my family is all teachers, and I learned early in life that academics and a good education are very important.”
