Master of Architecture Admissions


In addition to University-wide admission requirements, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of no less than 3.0 in the applicant’s last 60 hours of coursework (including all graduate and postgraduate coursework taken) and must submit:

  1. Application Form and Fee
  2. Portfolio (see below)
  3. Letters of Recommendation (min. 2)
  4. Statement of Purpose (that must discuss the student’s anticipated focus of studies and its impact on subsequent professional practice)
  5. GRE (Graduate Record Examination) test score taken within the last five years (see below)
  6. Official Transcripts that document that a candidate holds a baccalaureate degree from an accredited United States college or university (or its equivalent in a foreign institution)
  7. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores for international applicants whose first language is not English
