Yoga classes are being taught Tuesday evenings beginning at 5:20 p.m. at the Institute of Texan Cultures. The class, which is $25 per month, is taught by Shelley Henderson. Those who attend classes should bring a mat or large towel and dress in stretchy clothes. New Faculty Fellows program benefits students and faculty

The Department of Housing and the Office of Academic Support and Undergraduate Studies are sponsoring the new Faculty Fellows program in the residence halls beginning next fall. The program gives faculty members the opportunity to get to know students in an informal atmosphere. Faculty chosen to be Fellows will eat with students once or twice per week and partner with a resident assistant to offer three programs for students each semester. Programs may include guest speakers, trips to plays, museums or other sites on- and off-campus. Faculty Fellows will be available at the residence hall during stated times to meet with students. Participants in similar programs across the country have found the experience to be enriching to their teaching and social lives. Students benefit from getting to know faculty members outside the classroom. Faculty members may work in pairs to share the time commitment.

To become a Faculty Fellow in the Fall 2005 or Spring 2006 semesters, e-mail Mary McNaughton-Cassill, Patricia Glenn at or John White.
