Time switch causes glitch in some Outlook calendarsBecause of the change to Daylight Saving Time the start and end dates of appointments in Outlook calendars may not be displayed correctly. Software updates have been applied, but in some cases, appointments may not be corrected. Check your Outlook appointments, especially those from Sunday, March 8 to Sunday, April 5. Some appointments may be off by one hour. For meeting organizers, the easiest way to fix the problem is to delete the incorrect appointment, add it back to the calendar and re-send meeting invitations. Small office-size recycling bins are availableThe UTSA Office of Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management (EHSRM) is working to increase participation in the campus recycling program. Education promotes cooperation and inspiration to change our impact on the environment. The UTSA program will help reduce the amount of trash added to landfills. EHSRM provides small 28-quart, blue recycling bins that fit under a desk for paper recycling. It is the individual responsibility of users to empty these bins into larger 50-gallon blue bins with lids and labeled "Paper Only;" the larger bins are on each floor of every UTSA building. All types of paper can be recycled: newspapers, copy paper, boxes from microwavable food, junk mail, non-corrugated cardboard, phone books, catalogs and file folders. Additionally, UTSA community members are encouraged to use recycling bins around the campuses that are labeled for aluminum, plastic and glass. For more information or to request 28-quart containers, call 458-5250.
