Faculty, staff alumni: Enjoy free lunch with Alumni Association

The UTSA Alumni Association wants to connect with and celebrate UTSA faculty and staff who also are UTSA alumni... and they are invited to an event each semester in their honor. A luncheon for alumni who are employees is noon, Tuesday, April 21 in the University Center Denman Room (2.01.28) on the Main Campus. "The event is an opportunity to learn more about the UTSA Alumni Association," said Jane Burton, assistant vice president for alumni programs. "We want to thank you for your loyalty to the university, not only as graduates but also as employees. We look forward to seeing you there."

To make a reservation for the luncheon, call 458-4133.

Fiesta parking is available at Downtown Campus

Avoid lines: Order new parking permits now

UTSA parking permits for the 2009-2010 academic year are now on sale through the ASAP online information system. Faculty and staff can purchase permits by MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card, e-check or by payroll deduction on a pre-tax or post-tax basis. For payroll deduction, the FY 2010 permit cost is divided into monthly payroll deductions rather than from a single paycheck and begins October 2009. Deductions for permit purchases continue until the full price of the permit is paid or until the permit is returned.

Permits purchased by July 31 will be mailed beginning Aug. 1 to the address each applicant indicates on the permit application. For permit type and rate information, visit the UTSA Parking and Transportation Services Web site, e-mail parking@utsa.edu or call 458-PARK (7275).
