President Ricardo Romo to deliver State of the University address Sept. 29

UTSA President Ricardo Romo will deliver a "State of the University" address at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29 in the University Center Ballroom (1.104) on the UTSA Main Campus. Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. A reception will follow the address. For those unable to attend, there will be a live videostream of the address.

UTSA hosts town meeting on flu for students, parents, faculty and staff

The UTSA Office of Business Continuity and Emergency Management and Student Health Services will present the last of four town meetings, "The Flu and You," for UTSA students, parents, faculty and staff. The meeting is 5:15-6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25 in the Business Building University Room (2.06.04) on the Main Campus. In the first three meetings at the Downtown and Main campuses, more than 200 attended.

Reception to honor David Johnson is Sept. 25

David Johnson, UTSA vice provost for academic and faculty support, has decided to step down to resume full-time teaching in the Department of History. To celebrate his 12 years of service to UTSA as vice provost, there will be a reception from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25 in the University Center Ballroom (1.104) on the Main Campus. The university community is invited to the special event.

 

HOP changes: Updated policies

In the UTSA Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOP), the following policies have been updated or created to address institutional requirements. Periodic updates to the HOP online will be announced in @UTSA.
