Campus Visitor and Guest Options - Updated

Business Auxiliary Services (BAS) is pleased to announce the recent opening of the Bauerle Rd Garage (BRG).

Our newest facility, this nearly 1,200 space garage offers convenient and easy to use parking for employees and students, as well as visitors and guests. With an easy entry from Loop 1604 and close proximity to the Main Building, JPL, McKinney Building, and Business Building, it is ideal for first time and regular visitors. The UTSA Welcome Center will be located on the first floor of the garage.

With the addition of the Bauerle Rd Garage, there are changes to visitor and guest parking. Please note the following changes.

• Tobin Ave Garage (formerly North Garage) – This garage will only offer eligible permit parking. Pay spaces were converted to permit only spaces and the pay value stations removed. Visitors should be directed to the Bauerle Rd or the Ximenes Ave Garage.
• Information Booths located at the Peace Blvd and Ximenes Ave entrances to campus provide parking information to visitors. All visitors will be directed to the closest parking garage (Bauerle Rd or Ximenes Ave Garage). Visitors parking in these garages are responsible for hourly parking charges, to be paid prior to exiting the garage. Departments can purchase validation stickers, at a rate of $6 each, to validate up to five (5) hours of parking in the Bauerle or Ximenes Garage for their guests. Validation stickers are affixed to the garage parking ticket (pulled upon entry to the garage) and presented to an attendant in the garage cashier booth prior to exiting the garage. Validation stickers can only be redeemed when the cashier booth is staffed. Please check the Garage page for current hours of operation. Departments should email VisitorParking@utsa.edu with the requested quantity and billable account number to purchase validation stickers prior to their guests’ arrival on campus.
• If you have regular visitors to campus, encourage them to consider purchasing a FastPass. FastPass is a preloaded value card that allows a customer swipe access to and from the Bauerle Rd and Ximenes Ave Garages. No need to pull a ticket or pay at the cashier office.
