2007 Intern of the Year: Pablo Ramirez
UTSA Student Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car 2007 Intern of the Year
August 14, 2007 (San Antonio, TX) - Pablo Ramirez, a senior management major at UTSA, was named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car South Texas Group's 2007 Intern of the Year. Ramirez was named the award winner at the 10th Annual Summer Intern Appreciation & Awards Banquet, hosted by Enterprise on August 8, 2007, at the Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, TX.
He was selected based on exceptional performance in all areas of the summer intern program, which focuses on numerous aspects of Enterprise's management training program. During the 12-week program, Summer Interns receive formalized instruction and hands-on experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and business operations. Interns have specific goals and expectations, and earn Intern "points" based upon performance. Ramirez's total earned Intern points were the second highest total ever in the 10-year history of the program.
