Claudia holds an M.B.A. from Clark University, Graduate School of Management, with concentrations in Marketing and Finance. She also has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Bari, Italy.
Claudia has two years of teaching experience at the college level, and more than five years of work for a multinational company in Sales and Marketing departments, coordinating significant projects.
Claudia is skilled in business and strategic planning, project organization and management, sales management and team building. She joined UTSA’s Career Services office in January 2007 as one of the Career Counselors providing assistance to the undergraduate students in the College of Business.
Barbara Jackson, PHR

Barbara joined UTSA’s Career Services in October 2006 and works as a Career Counselor serving undergraduate Business students. She was an Outplacement Consultant for 8 years, assisting displaced individuals in all aspects of their career search. In addition, she spent 13 years working in the Hospitality Industry as Manager of Corporate Employment and Employee Relations as well as Training Manager. She has held the Professional in Human Resources (P.H.R.) designation since 1989 and is a member of the San Antonio Human Resource Management Association, National Career Development Association, National Association of College and Employers, and Texas Cooperative Education and Internship Association. Barbara enjoys inspiring students to identify and reach their career goals. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business with a minor in Psychology.
MESSAGE to STUDENTS: Career planning is an integral part of your four-year experience here at UTSA. And, for business majors in particular, career exploration during these four years is critical. We are here to help you make decisions about the path that you will pursue upon graduation and we look forward to helping you make a smooth transition after college.
