Using the JOBBANK
The UTSA Career Services’ Jobbank typically has a large number of internships posted in it. To search for openings, login to your jobbank account. Click on [Jobs] along the top toolbar. To obtain the largest number of results, go to “Seeking Position” and select “Intern/Coop” as your search strategy. It’s best to start with a large number of opportunities rather than narrowing it down too much.
Scroll through and read about the positions. Information on “How to Apply” is included on each posting. If you see something that interests you, be sure to follow through and apply.
You can also set up a Search Agent and have new postings automatically e-mailed to you by clicking on “Save Search” on your results page. In the pop-up window, give the search results an easily identifiable name then click in the box to have e-mails sent to you. It’s as simple as that. Now anytime a new internship is posted meeting your search criteria you’ll know about it immediately. |
