Troyer's song
Todd Troyer, assistant professor of biology, has birdsongs on his mind. Troyer has a nest of nearly 50 finches whose songs he studies in the hope that they shed light on how the neurons that control learned behaviors work in human brains. Troyer says theare are similarities between bird and human brains both in speech development and in neurological diseases. |
