Luretta Filberth

Education:
Luretta graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Murray State University in 1972. She completed twenty-four hours on her Master's at Southern Illinois University 1974 and twenty-four hours in Early Childhood Education 1989. She directed child development centers for the Army and the Navy for nine years. In addition, Luretta was a Special Needs Coordinator for three years in Germany. Luretta's directing experiences derives from the many upstanding positions she's held over the years, such as: Executive Director of Project STOP (3 years), Sustaining Core Coordinator for the state of Illinois (5 years), and serving on the planning body of the Executive Branch of Greater Egypt Health (3 years.)

Hobbies:
She enjoys traveling and reading.

Philosophy:
"Children learn thru play. We as adults should provide hands-on learning experiences in a warm and caring environment."
