2006 - 2007 4th Quarter Recipients

Business Affairs is proud to recognize Clay Haverland, Systems Analyst III, Business Auxiliary Services, as a 4th quarter recipient of the Celebrating Excellence Award for FY 2007.
Clay has played an instrumental role in coordinating many aspects of the department outside the scope of his job, including, but not limited to, excellence in leadership for the UTSACard office, which has resulted in superior customer service. He consistently questions “why” processes are done and makes sound recommendations for change. His critical statistical analysis of Copier Services, Meal Plans, and Vending has resulted in a more focused, better served campus community. In addition, Clay's sense of humor and positive attitude is contagious and well received by all.
During Student Orientation, he and his staff of two were able to effectively serve upwards of four hundred students with IDs in a ninety minute time frame - an average processing time of fourteen seconds!  What a phenomenal example of customer service and truly a sign of an effective leader.
