  • Organic Synthesis: methodology development for the asymmetric synthesis of the polyhydroxylated/polyaminated bioactive compounds
  • Asymmetric catalysis: design, synthesis, and application of a new class of ultra-nucleophilic catalysts
  • Polymer and combinatorial chemistry: polymer-based desymmetrization, parallel kinetic resolution, macrocylization, catenane synthesis, and macrocyclic chemical library synthesis
