The Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry provides opportunities for preparation for careers in industry, government agencies, environmental studies, pre-professional programs, and medical technology, and for graduate study in chemistry or other related fields.

The chemistry faculty direct research on a variety of topics, and graduate students work closely with faculty to play an important role in this research. Class sizes are generally small, and students receive a considerable amount of individual attention.
