Geological Sciences Geological Sciences has been at UTSA from the earliest days of the University’s history. Our research facilities include bio-geochemistry, environmental geochemistry, environmental microbiology, hydrogeology/engineering geology, isotope geochemistry, micropaleontology/stratigraphy, remote sensing and spatial analysis, and x-ray diffraction.
