Upcoming Events

Transfer Sessions for recently admitted transfer students are offered most Fridays at 9 AM and 2 PM. Students receive a personalized degree plan and learn how their transfer credits can be used toward a science degree.  Call the COSUAC at 210-458-4045 to learn more about the sessions and to sign up for one.

 

 

How to Apply to Graduate sessions are offered prior to the graduation application deadline each long semester (fall and spring) for students who plan to apply to graduate in the next year. Students receive a personalized degree plan, learn about graduation requirements and meet with an advisor to review an individual preliminary degree audit. Graduation Panel is offered once a semester to students who plan on graduating soon.  Speakers from Career Services, The Graduate School, Health Professions, UTSA Athletics, and College of Sciences Advising will be at the Panel to to relay critical information.  To learn more about Graduation Panel or to reserve a spot please call the COSUAC at 210-458-4045.

 

The Art of Science is a group of sessions created by the TRC and the COSUAC designed specifically for students in the College of Sciences.  These sessions will cover many topics and will be held in the Spring of 2008.  Click on this link to discover more about The Art of Science

 

Step it Up is a session covering the plentiful resources offered at UTSA.  Many students do not realize all that the University has here from counseling services, tutoring, financial aid counseling, academic coaching to sessions held by the TRC.  If you are in need of extra help or are wondering what is available to you as a student, then look out for these sessions being held in March 2008.

 

Major Concern is a session being held by the COSUAC and Career Services.  Are you concerned about your major?  Do you feel that the classes you are taking are not for you?  Are you having trouble finding out what is right for you?  Major Concern will try to help you answer those questions by assessing what best fits with your strengths.  Click on this link for more information about room and time.

 

GPA/Registration Sessions will be held by the COSUAC on March 12th, 2008.  The Registration sessions will help COS students understand many of the restrictions on ASAP.  The GPA session is going to be very helpful for students.  The session will cover the process of GPA calculation, semester GPA calculation, and your overall GPA.  Calculating your own GPA can be very confusing and if you want a step-by-step session on how to do it, click on this link for more information.
