THE DEGREE PLAN
The degree is designed to allow students to concentrate in one of three specialties - Biosphere, Chemosphere, or Geosphere. There are 42 credit hours of core requirements, 38 credit hours of required environmental sciences courses, 29-30 credit hours of required courses outside of environmental sciences, 10-12 credit hours of elective support work, and 15 hours of elective hours to be chosen in the area of specialty - the Biosphere, Chemosphere, or Geosphere.
