Welcome to the program disciplines in Environmental Science, Geology, and Multidisciplinary Sciences (with and without teacher certification), and the Certificate in Geographical Information Science.

The environmental science discipline shares responsibilities with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering for the Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering degree program.  Both areas are responsible in providing classes, research and facilities for this program.

Our research facilities include bio-geochemistry, environmental geochemistry, environmental microbiology, hydrogeology/engineering geology, isotope geochemistry, micropaleontology/stratigraphy, remote sensing and spatial analysis, and x-ray diffraction.

To find out more about the degree programs offered and the research laboratories for the environmental sciences or geology programs, please enter their respective web page at the left.
