Edwards Aquifer

• EUWD Rules
  The Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas and was created by the Texas Legislature to replace the Edwards Underground Water District. It includes general information about the EAA and the Edwards Aquifer, announcements/meetings, new job postings, the Water Source Newsletter, rules and regulations, technical data, reports/research, a library catalog, geographic information systems, and water conservation/education efforts as well as much more.

  This is the official web site of the Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center (EARDC), Southwest Texas State University (SWT), San Marcos, Texas. At this site you will find some information related to the Edwards Aquifer, the underground reservoir that supplies water for agricultural, industrial as well as municipal uses for more than 1.5 million people in the region. The aquifer and its associated springs are the home of several endangered species that are found only in this region.

• Ocean Data from NOAA Programs
  Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water. The U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) holds the world's largest collection of publicly available oceanographic data. The main NODC facility is located at the NOAA building complex in Silver Spring, Md.

  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association - searchable databases mostly dealing with water quality. The purpose of the NOAAServer is to provide access to distributed NOAA data and information. Participants include all of the NOAA Line Offices. A limited but growing portion of NOAA's data and information is presently available through this system.
