The Office of Events Management & Conference Services (EMCS) and other University Center (UC) and staff are charged with ensuring all events comply with university rules and regulations, as well as local, state and federal laws. Scheduling events on UTSA campuses is a privilege reserved for those who comply with those rules, regulations, policies and laws.
Any failure to act in accordance with policies and procedures of the UT System Board of Regents and UTSA or federal, state, or local laws will result in loss of scheduling privileges at UTSA.
Common reasons why groups at UTSA lose scheduling privileges include fronting, failure to pay, repeated failure to follow staff instructions and causing damage to university property. This list is by no means exhaustive.
University administration will review all factors in conjunction with Events Management & Conference Services and make a final determination regarding scheduling privileges at UTSA.
