Family Association Scholarships
The Family Association is pleased to announce that it will be awarding four $500 scholarships to deserving students for the spring 2010 semester. To be eligible, applicants must have enrolled at UTSA for the fall 2009 semester, and must be registered for spring 2010 classes. The family of the applicant should be registered members of the UTSA Family Association. Scholarship applications are available for download by clicking here. Please read directions and criteria carefully. Only completed applications will be considered for the award. Deadline to submit an application is 4:30 pm, November 30th, 2009.

In 2008, the Association began its newest form of outreach, as merit based scholarships were awarded to UTSA students. Our annual scholarship drive saw more than 45 UTSA families contribute to the fund. Three deserving students received aid, as a direct result of the generousity of our UTSA family members! Sigma Phi Epsilon Scholarships

The Texas Sigma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is offering three Balanced Man Scholarships totaling $1000 to outstanding freshman males entering The University of Texas San Antonio next year, whose family members have a membership with the UTSA Family Association. Three scholarships will be awarded to incoming males students who embody the principles of the Balanced Man. The aim is to recognize and reward men who strive to achieve balance and all-around excellence, which is essential in achieving a satisfying college experience and life. To qualify, applicants must enrolled at The University of Texas at San Antonio for the Fall 2009 semester as a incoming freshman student with less than 30 completed hours, demonstrate leadership and have a family membership to the UTSA Family Association.
