Ann Roberts receives 2nd Quarter Financial Affairs Award

Ann Roberts, SIS Financial Accounting Manager, has been recognized by Financial Affairs as employee of the 2nd Quarter 2008, for her continued efforts to make improvements to UTSA's Banner system. We are so proud of Ann and her 20 years of dedicated service to UTSA. Pictured below Janet Parker, Associate Vice President of Financial Affairs, presenting Ann with the award.

UTSA prepares for Accreditation Review

The University of Texas at San Antonio is currently preparing for its Reaffirmation of Accreditation review in 2009-2010, which will be conducted by the Southern Association of College and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS/COC). One of the requirements of the reaffirmation process is the Compliance Certification. Financial Affairs staff is very involved in this process and will begin meeting monthly to gather data and write the report for the Core Requirement 2.11.2 and Standards 3.11.1, 3.11.2, and 3.11.3.

Quality Enhancement Plan

"The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a document to be developed by UTSA to describe a course of action for institutional improvement crucial to enhancing educational quality that is directly related to student learning. Proposals have been submitted for selection of UTSA's QEP project.
