Financial Aid & Scholarships helps students understand the types of financial aid that are available (grants, loans, scholarships, work-study, athletic scholarships, summer term aid, and special programs), learn how to apply for the various types of aid, accurately process and accept an aid package after it has been awarded, and maintain eligibility for the aid that has been awarded. Our federal school code is 010115.

As a Military Friendly School, we offer many programs to support our students in the military, our veterans, and their families, while working closely with the UTSA Veterans Certification Office.

*Notice: Working on completing your FAFSA? The IRS DRT (Data Retrieval Tool) is currently unavailable. The DRT was used to transfer all relevant tax data straight from the IRS to your FAFSA. However, the DRT is currently unavailable and will likely remain down until the start of the next FAFSA season (October 2017). You can still complete your FAFSA but you will need to enter your 2015 tax information manually from your tax transcripts (available here) or your tax return.
