Stafford Entrance Counseling
First-time borrowers must complete a Stafford Entrance Loan Counseling session online at www.mapping-your-future.org. Stafford loan funds will not be released until this is complete. For further questions please contact Enrolment Services at 1-800-669-0919. To expedite the procedure, you can email the Confirmation Number to financialaid@utsa.edu.
Stafford Exit Counseling
If you are no longer registered at least half-time you must complete a loan exit interview per Federal regulations. Loan exit interviews may be completed online at http://www.mapping-your-future.org.
If you have a current Fall/Spring loan at UTSA, but have dropped below half-time in the Fall semester, your spring disbursement will be cancelled. If you plan to register for Spring and enroll ½ time or more and want federal loans, please complete the Student Loan Memo form to request the revision.
