2007-2008 UTSA Employee Education Benefit                

Fall 2007/Spring 2008/Summer 2008

Total of 6 Hours for the Fiscal Year

The following amounts are based on hours the student/employee wants the benefit applied for:

1 hour                   456.25

2 hours                  596.65

3 hours                  737.05

4 hours                  877.45

5 hours                1,044.85

6 hours                1,214.65

The amounts above are an exemption of payment of:

  • Tuition Designated, Student Services Fee
  • Athletics Fee,  Automated Services Charge
  • University Center Fee, Medical Services Fee
  • University Publication Charge,  International Education Fee
  • Recreation Center Fee,  Library Resources Charge
  • TEAM Center Support Charge, ID Card Fee, Energy Fee

The amounts above may be deducted from the semester tuition and fees total to determine the employee out-of-pocket expense. 

The student is responsible for Advising Fees, Course Fees, the Record Processing Charge, and the remaining tuition portion (other than Tuition Designated), which includes Graduate Incremental Tuition, Tuition-Resident, Tuition-Non Resident, etc.

Students not using the entire 6-hour benefit during one semester may use the remaining benefit (total 6 hours for the fiscal year) the next semester.  If the entire 6 hours is not used during the fiscal year, it cannot be carried over to the next fiscal year.

Forms are no longer submitted to Fiscal Services.  Please turn in your request to Enrollment Services.
