Research Interest

Remote sensing of surface hydrology and modeling (precipitation, snow cover, soil moisture, land surface temperature, evapotranspiration, etc.).

Polar research, in particular, Antarctic sea ice, its ecosystem and its climate connection.

Marian minerals/rocks and surface processes.

Teaching Interests

Remote sensing and GIS related courses, including remote sensing, image processing, remote sensing for hydrology, GIS, advanced GIS, and polar marine science.
