Master of Science Degree in Geology
 
The program offers the Master of
Science degree in Geology, which offers students the opportunity for advanced
study and research leading in the following major area of emphasis:
Program geoscience
specialties include (but not limited to): environmental geosciences, field
geology, geomorphology, igneous and metamorphic petrology, sedimentary
petrology, sedimentology and stratigraphy, tectonics/structural geology,
volcanology, economic geology, general geochemistry, analytical geochemistry,
low-temperature geochemistry, general geophysics, exploration geophysics, general
hydrology, groundwater/hydrogeology, engineering geology.
