Graduate Student Orientation

Welcome to the Graduate School Student Orientation page! The Graduate School at UTSA is proud to announce that the Fall 2008 Graduate Student Orientation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with an optional tour of the 1604 Campus offered at 1:30 p.m.

You will receive an overview of how the Graduate School and a vast collaboration of student support offices can assist you to succeed in your degree. The Tomás Rivera Center for Student Success is offering “Gear-Up for Graduate School ” workshops in collaboration with Library Services to get you prepared for the expectations of graduate school. You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff and fellow graduate students from the academic colleges, as well as participate in an information fair that will include offices such as Enrollment Services, Parking, Information Technology, Recreation and Student Health Care Services.

The Graduate School is vested in you as a graduate student. Our orientation will be one of a series of opportunities for you to get the resources you need to succeed in your graduate program.
