The Graduate School

Process for the Master's Thesis/Recital Document or the Doctoral Dissertation

WORKSHOPS

Fall 2009 Thesis and Dissertation Workshops

DEADLINES

Any student submitting a thesis or dissertation after the recommended deadline for a first draft whose thesis or dissertation does not meet the required formatting guidelines will not have the opportunity to revise the thesis or dissertation for review until the following semester. As this may affect graduation plans, students are strongly encouraged to submit the preliminary draft before the posted preliminary draft deadline. Preliminary drafts must be submitted as a hard copy to the Graduate School. We do not accept email attachments of the preliminary drafts.

Preliminary Draft due by no later than Monday, November 2, 2009
Final Draft and UMI/ProQuest Upload due by Friday, December 11, 2009.
The deadline is by 5 p.m. on the noted deadline. NO EXTENSIONS.

We strongly recommend you schedule an appointment with the thesis/dissertation officer to discuss the signature page. Failure to acquire signatures on a properly formatted signature page by the deadline date may delay your graduation until the following semester.

For appointments or questions, please contact:
