Alcohol is recognized as the most often used substance on college campuses, and was the substance most associated with problem behaviors and injuries.
Unprotected sexual encounters, sexual assaults, homicides, and suicide are reported negative consequences associated with binge drinking among college students.
Underage alcohol consumption takes place in many different settings and is influenced by family, peers, school, sports teams, clubs, community activities, social media and many others.
Support for this project was made possible by the Department of Education under CFDA 84.184Z "Grants for Coalitions to Prevent and Reduce Alcohol Abuse at Institutions of Higher Education."
