Part 1 - Due Wednesday, August 26, 2009
The program takes approximately 2.0 to 3 hours to complete, and we recommend that you take it in multiple sittings. Every time you log back into the program it will immediately take you back to the first video but then it will take you back to where you left off. You must earn a grade of 75% or higher to pass and receive credit for the program. After completing Part 1, we encourage you to look for an email reminding you to complete Part 2.
Part 2 - Due Thursday, October 24, 2009
After you have started classes, you will receive an email reminder approximately 45 days from the day you complete Part 1. The email will remind you to return and complete Part 2.

What is AlcoholEdu?
AlcoholEdu for College offers a confidential, personalized experience for each student.
The course includes:
• 5 modules of alcohol-related content
• Case studies
• Interactive exercises
• Assessments of alcohol-related knowledge, attitudes and behaviors
Instructions for AlcoholEdu:
Logon Process:
The course takes approximately 3 hours to complete. You can log in from your own computer at home, at the many computer labs at UTSA or at any other location offering Internet
Explorer access. You may log in and out of the course as often as you wish, and we do recommend that you complete the course in three or four sittings.
To begin AlcoholEdu for College: use Internet Explorer.
1. Log onto ASAP at http://asap.utsa.edu/
2. Click on AlcoholEdu for College
3. Use your myUTSA email address to create your account. Type correctly for your confirmation of completion will be sent to you.
4. Start the course!
5. When completed, you should receive a confirmation of completion of the part via your myUTSA email address. Save your confirmation!
Part II will be sent to you within 45 days of completing Part I. Once
both parts are completed, you will be able to print out a certificate of
completion for your insurance company for a possible reduction in car
insurance rates.
