Health Advocates
Health Advocates are student peer-level health educators with Student Health Services who educate the UTSA community on specific health and wellness issues. Each group has a specific focus and conduct a series of campaigns, fundraising, community service, presentations, and activities throughout the year. Baby STEPS (Striving to Educate Parenting Students)
Baby STEPS is a student-led organization committed to improving the lives of adolescent and young adult parents and their children through education. We aim to provide resources to parenting students to help them to reach their academic and personal goals.

CAMbassadors (Cancer Advocacy Movement Ambassadors)
Cancer affects everyone in some way. As a brother, sister, son, daughter, mother, father, cousin, or sibling, cancer has a great impact in our lives. The CAMbassadors promote cancer education and conduct awareness campaigns to prevent, cope, and win the battle of cancer.

SHADES (Sexual Health, Alcohol, Drug Education for Students)
Our mission is to provide factual information regarding sexual health, alcohol and drugs and promote safer habitats that equip our students with the knowledge to prepare them for a safe college experience. Keep it real. Keep it Safe.

SHO (Student Health Organization)
SHO is a group of students interested in providing health issue outreach and information regarding services and opportunities available at Student Health Services to UTSA students, staff and faculty. SHO works to positively impact the health of the UTSA community.

The CURE (Campus United for Respect and Education)
The CURE welcomes UTSA students to come together and become advocates for change. The CURE aims to educate the student body about issues of violence prevention by creating programming that both engages and educates the students about these issues and encourages them to make healthy choices.
