30-minute advising appointments are available Monday-Thursday between the hours of 9:30am-11:30am or 1:00pm-3:30pm, such that the last morning appointment begins at 11:00 and the last afternoon appointment begins at 3:00. Typically, appointments are not offered on Fridays. To schedule an appointment, please call the office at (210) 458-5185 or visit the office at MS 3.02.10.

Downtown Advising: Downtown advising is scheduled on selected days each month. Please call the office directly for the current month's downtown advising days.

Avanzar and Pre-Nursing Advising: Dr. Adelita Cantu and Herlinda Zamora are now available for walk-in advising for pre-nursing students and Avanzar in addition to the UHPO advisors. Typically, Ms. Zamora is available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and Dr. Cantu is available Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm at the UHPO. Please note that students can continue to meet with the UHPO staff to discuss their prerequisite requirements and applications to any health profession program.
