Avanzar and Pre-Nursing Advising
The UHPO has joined the UTHSCSA in a grant to provide faculty advisement to pre-nursing students. Avanzar is a mentoring program for future nurses that is sponsored by the School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
**The grant for this program has expired. Nursing advisors from UTHSCSA will no longer advise out of our office. However, the Health Professions Advisors here in our office are available to advise pre-nursing students. **
