Avanzar and Pre-Nursing Advising
The UHPO has joined the UTHSCSA in a grant to provide faculty advisement to pre-nursing students. Avanzar is a mentoring program for future nurses that is sponsored by the School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center. We are happy to have Dr. Adelita Cantu and Herlinda Zamora help with advising on Nursing and Avanzar, in addition to our regular UHPO advisors. Dr. Cantu and Herlinda Zamora can answer your questions about Avanzar and the nursing profession. Please feel free to stop by the University Health Professions Office MS 3.02.10 (1604 campus) to meet with Dr. Cantu or Herlinda.
