UTSA’s Health Professions Day is part of group of institutions that host health professions fairs February 18 – 21.  These schools include the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Preparation Materials for Students

Students who wish to attend Health Professions Day 2008 should prepare to make the most of their experience.  As part of this preparation, students are welcome to read and print out tips for attending a health professions fair and questions to consider asking health professions program representatives.

Driving Directions and Map

If you will be a visitor to UTSA for Health Professions Day, please be aware that there are many construction sites present on the 1604 Campus at this time.  Therefore, we ask that you follow the provided driving, unloading, and parking directions.  Please note that these directions will differ depending on whether you are coming the Health Professions Day as a health professions program representative, a group of students being bussed to UTSA, or a non-UTSA student who is driving on your own.

Parking Directions and Maps

Parking instructions will differ depending on if you are participating in Health Professions Day 2008 as the representative of a health professions program or as an interested student or other community member who is not enrolled at UTSA.  Please see these instructions below.  For assistance, please also see the walking map of the 1604 Campus and the parking map of the 1604 Campus.

On the day of the event, parking for non-UTSA students and community members is provided for free in Lot 13 off Valero Way or for a small fee in short-term paid spaces in Lots 5, 7, and 8 (see attached map).  Buses may drop off and pick up students at either the intersection of Margaret Tobin Avenue and Fred Cook Avenue or the bus stop located in Lot 3.  After dropping off students, buses may then park in Lot 13.

Parking instructions for health professions program representatives will be sent soon by email or fax along with other final confirmation information.
