The University Health Professions Office (UHPO) invites you to participate in our annual Health Professions Day at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Through Health Professions Day, UTSA hosts representatives from health professions programs across Texas, the nation, and international institutions to visit with students who are interested in pursuing health careers. The event, including seminars, is free and open to all UTSA students, as well as to students at local colleges and universities, high school students, faculty, staff, and community members with an interest in learning more about health professions careers. UTSA’s Health Professions Day is part of group of institutions that host health professions fairs February 16-19. These schools include the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas at Austin.
Schedule of Seminars Along with the opportunity it will provide students to meet face-to-face with health professions program representatives, Health Professions Day 2009 will also offer seven panel-based seminars throughout the day. Preparation Materials for Students Students who wish to attend Health Professions Day 2009 should prepare to make the most of their experience. As part of this preparation, students are welcome to read and print out tips for attending a health professions fair and questions to consider asking health professions program representatives.

Volunteer Sign-Up The UHPO will need the help of student volunteers to make Health Professions Day 2009 run successfully.
