 The 24th annual Diploma Dash 5K Run/Fitness Walk presented by the Capital Group Companies. It serves as San Antonio's City Championship Race. Proceeds benefit student and athletic scholarships as well as alumni programs and services. New this year! Student team challenge! Student Leader Reunion Luncheon - 12 pm - Denman Ballroom

The Student Leader Reunion Luncheon will be held on Saturday, March 1, at noon in the University Center Denman Ballroom on the 1604 campus.  Student Leader alums are invited back to campus to get together with old and new friends, to enjoy the Homecoming activities, to see and hear about changes in the campus and to share a look into UTSA's future.  Dessert Receptions will follow immediately after the Luncheon and give Student Leader alums an opportunity to meet with organizations with which they were affiliated during their time as UTSA students.  Campus tours will be held before and after the Luncheon and Dessert Receptions.  Advanced tickets are required and space is limited (first-come, first-served).  Complete and submit the registration form and the personal information form by Friday, February 22.  Join us for a wonderful time of fellowship and fun.

Homecoming Tailgate Party - 4 pm - Convocation Center

Parking Lot Near Convocation Center 1604 Campus
Grab your friends, a grill and come tailgate before the game. There will be an obstacle course, free giveaways, crafts, face painting, a performance from the spirit squad, and other fun activities to get you ready for the game.  One of Austin’s hottest bands, Alpha Rev, will get the crowd rockin’ before the game (www.myspace.com/alpharev).  If you don’t have a grill, come join the Campus Activities Board at their tent for a free hotdog and soda.

If you are planning to tailgate and would like to reserve a space close to the festivities, please contact the Campus Activities Board at 210.458.4727 by 5:00pm on February 28.  This will also get you a sand trap to dump your coals into after you are finished.  Space is limited so get your reservations in early.
