Options For Graduating With Honors From The Honors College
Tier 1 Honors**Note: Available only to students who are admitted to the Honors College with < 30 (non-CLEP or AP) college hours.GPA of 3.25 or Higher 21 Hours of Honors course work (including a maximum of 9 hours contract work) The 21 hours of course work must includes : One Honors section of IDS 2213, IDS 2203, CSH 1213 or ANT 2053 AND One Honors Seminar (course numbered) HON 3223 - HON 3253 Tier 2 Honors**Note: Students who enter with 50+ hours may waive 6 hours of Honors course work for Tier 2 HonorsGPA of 3.25 or Higher An Honors Thesis approved by a 3-person committee 30 hours of Honors course work* (including a maximum of 9 hours contract work) The 30 hours of course work includes: One Honors section of IDS 2213, IDS 2203, CSH 1213 or ANT 2053 AND Two Honors Seminars (courses numbered) HON 3223 - HON 3253 OR Three Honors Seminars Business HonorsGPA of 3.25 or HigherA minimum of 5 courses in the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) taken in Honors Sections International DistinctionGraduation with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Honors AND Study outside the U.S. for one academic semester (Spring or Fall semester) OR Master a foreign language at the 2023 level |
