2.31 Policy and Procedures on Library Matters

The following administrative policy and procedures on Library matters apply to The University of Texas at San Antonio. The Institute of Texan Cultures' Library is operated by the Institute as a separate reference library and is not covered by these policies and procedures.

Branch Libraries

UTSA seeks efficiency and economy in the purchase and provision of library resources; therefore, UTSA does not have branch libraries. The central library facility on campus will serve as a major academic resource for the entire campus.
Nonlibrary Book Purchases

Procedures for nonlibrary book purchases are included in Section 8.7 of this Handbook.
