Students electing installment tuition and fee options must be billed at the address listed in the Registrar's Office in advance of the payment due dates. The bill must recite that a student who fails to make full payment of tuition and fees by the specified due date, including incidental and late fees, may be barred from class until full payment is made, may not receive academic credit for work done during the semester if payment is not received prior to the end of the semester, and may have University records adjusted to reflect failure to have properly enrolled. Additionally, a student delinquent in payment may suffer a bar against readmission and the withholding of grades, degree and official transcript.
Any student failing to make an installment payment when due must be sent a notice of impending bar and penalties stating that a bar against readmission and withholding of grades, degree and official transcript will be implemented unless the student clears the debt to the University within (a specific number) of days. As with all notices of impending bar, the student must be given the name of an individual to contact to correct alleged clerical errors prior to the imposition of the bar.
Any student who fails to make payment in full by the specified date should be notified of the bar and penalties implemented.
Copies of all bills and notice statements will be retained in the student's file.
