Housing and Residence Life at UTSA is seeking skilled and personable students to serve as Housing Marketing Liaisons. Housing Marketing Liaisons will be at the front line (along with our Communications and Customer Relations Representative) for prospective students and family members interested in on-campus housing at Chaparral Village, Laurel Village, and Alvarez Hall. Throughout the year, Housing Marketing Liaisons will be asked to assist at formal University events where student participation is requested (i.e., university dignitaries).

Resident Assistant

Resident Assistants are student staff that live and work in either Chaparral Village, Laurel Village, or Alvarez Hall. They provide guidance to residents living in their community and act as a reference to the UTSA culture. They are seen as leaders in their residential communities as well as in the UTSA community.

The 2018-2019 Resident Assistant job application will open via RowdyLink on November 1st, 2017 and will close December 1st, 2017. There is additional information needed to submit with the application: two references information and as well as several short answers. *Be sure to pay close attention to the short answer portion of the application. The quality of these short answers will influence whether or not an interview will be offered.*

Student Assistant

Student Assistants are student staff that  work the front desks of Chaparral Village, Laurel Village, and Alvarez Hall. These positions are staffed with part-time and work study students. These individuals assist residents with housing needs as well as UTSA Information. Facilities Student Clerk II

The Facilities Student Clerk's primary mission is to assist the full time HRL Facilities staff in performing routine maintenance and custodial work. The Facilities Student Clerk is a critical position within HRL Facilities as they are responsible for providing detailed work documentation, understanding and identifying maintenance and custodial issues within student housing areas, and knowing  the level of cleaning standards expected by Housing Facilities. In addition, Facilities Student Clerks are to adhere to all policies and procedures of campus housing, the Division of Student Affairs, and The University of Texas at San Antonio. Summer Conference Assistant

Summer Conference Assistants (SCA) are often the first person a guest comes in contact with while attending orientation or a conference at UTSA and are responsible for providing efficient and quality customer service to our guests. The SCAs are staff members of the Office of Housing and Residence Life and are supervised directly by the Housing and Residence Life Staff. The application process is open from February 1st to February 29th at 5:00 pm. All applicants must have a minimum 2.5 cumulate grade point average, must be enrolled in Spring and Fall semesters or be graduating in May 2017, and be able to pass a criminal background and Student Conduct Check. This position has a live-in requirement.
