Christine Bachman - Administrative Associate II
Chris provides direct administrative support to the positions of Director of Housing Residence Life, the Associate Director of Residence Life and Education, and the Associate Director of Housing Operations. She brings over 20 years of professional office experience to this position, and has served as Receptionist, Executive Secretary, Administrative Assistant, and Office Manager. Chris has extensive experience in office workflow, governmental compliance, payroll, workers’ compensation, employment law, and employee benefits. Her previous employers include stockbrokerage firms, law offices, and over 15 years in personnel recruiting and staffing services. She comes to UTSA Housing Residence Life after serving as Administrative Secretary to the Dean of Educational Support Services at St. Philip’s College.
She and husband, Jeff, are recent transplants from Dayton, Ohio, having first discovered San Antonio when their daughter moved here in 2004. They decided this was the southern, warm weather location for them. Their son, Brendan, a General Sales Manager, still resides in Dayton, Ohio.
Chris earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Sinclair Community College and enjoys a variety of activities involving music, art, history, and anytime spent with her new grandson.
