Getting Started with UT Retirement Manager

  • Go to the UTRetirement Manager [external site]
  • Read the Privacy Policy and Security information (upper right corner; just to the left of the logo)
  • Select "I'm a new user" (upper right corner; just below the logo)
  • Enter the requested information (use your high-assurance UT EID as your "Employee Unique ID" - but do NOT enter your normal EID password)
  • Enter a new password (following the password requirements listed on the site)
  • Start planning your future!

Disclosure of the last four digits of your Social Security number (“SSN”) is requested from you in order for The University of Texas at Austin to access the UTRetirement Manager. No statute or other authority requires that you disclose your SSN for that purpose. Failure to provide the last four digits of your SSN, however, will preclude access to the UTRetirement Manager. Further disclosure of your SSN is governed by the Public Information Act (Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code) and other applicable law. The Retirement Manager System is a secured Web site and uses various measures including encryption to protect the identity of users.
