Criminal Background Check (CBC)
CBC Exceptions
No CBC is required for:
- Reclassification or Progression within a job family
- Faculty reassignment within 4 months regardless of title or department change
(this applies only to faculty titles) - Faculty promotions
(e.g. Lecturer to Sr. Lecturer or Tenure Track to Tenure) - All titles rehired/reassigned/reappointed within 4 months (same department and same title-this does not include positions applied for through STARS)
- Temporary Agency
(should be performed by agency) - Individuals under the age of 18
