Employee Disability Status Update

As a federal contractor, UTSA provides all employees the opportunity to self-disclose disability status at any time.      

Be advised that disability disclosure is confidential and information provided will not be included in your personnel file. 

The information is used to:

  • Meet federal regulations that require government contractors to provide existing employees the opportunity to self-identify as an individual with a disability;
  • Report summary statistics to federal agencies, as required by federal law (similar to ethnicity, gender, and veteran status).
