System-wide Insurance Advisory Committee (SWIAC) Election Results

Dianita Gee, Human Resources Benefits Manager will represent UTSA as a voting member of SWIAC.  Fred Hample, Executive Director, Student Affairs DT Campus will represent UTSA as a non-voting member of SWIAC.
The University of Texas System-Wide Insurance Advisory Committee (SWIAC) works with the UT Board of Regents in administrating the group insurance program for employees, retirees, and their dependents at all of the U.T. System institutions.  Members of SWIAC are made up of one elected and one appointed representative from each UT institution.  They serve as advisors to the Board of Regents, through the Employee Group Insurance Office, in the development, implementation, coordination, and administration of the group insurance programs. SWIAC provides a channel for open communication of ideas and suggestions regarding group insurance benefits.

The advisory committee meets three times each year, usually in October, January and May. Employees may contact Dianita Gee at dianita.gee@utsa.edu or Fred Hample at fred.hample@utsa.edu about topics they would like addressed at SWIAC.
