Summary

 

·  Function:   To provide professional skills in conducting research and analyzing data to aid administrators in the decision making process.

 

·  Scope:      Responsible for gathering and analyzing information on a wide range of topics and preparing reports.

 

Duties

 

·  Typical:

1.      Coordinates assigned special studies in support of administrative decision-making and policy development. Provides analysis and interpretation of data and makes recommendations as appropriate.

2.      Provides institutional performance monitoring, information gathering and reporting.

3.      Serves as the institution's point of contact for the gathering and dissemination of information of assigned projects.

4.      Coordinates responses as assigned, for institutional information that may be received from the UT System Board of Regents, UT System administration, state and federal agencies, and/or other governmental or regulatory entities.

5.      Performs other duties as assigned.
